The Morning Practise
The morning is in many ways the most important part of the day for me… what I do, and don’t often sets the mood for the rest of the day
This is what inspired the morning paintings… I paint one small painting in a short amount of time, usually about 10 minutes, but it can be up to an hour if I have the time
The painting themselves are without any expectations and often just a stream from my unconscious expressing itself, sometimes very random and sometimes more clear, often times I get surprised by what shows up on the paper, other times this is a great place to experiment
The magic in this is that it activates the creative flow and makes me feel like I can do anything!

Painting have a special place in my heart, I love the simplicity of the paint and the complexity of the content it can hold
My works are inspired by the inner journey, mythology, dreams, the esoteric sciences and finding meaning through connection with nature in a modern world
The Planet Series
Here is a little sneak peak of a series of paintings I am working on at the moment

This series will contain paintings depicting the Archetypes of all the Planets in our Solar System

Artist Books
To make artist books is a common practice and these are my experiments with them
The first book contains oil paintings and some collage work, where the paint is used as an adhesive
The second book is made of paper scraps bound together and analog photo scarps organized into patterns
Analog Photography
Being in nature is a big part of my daily life, it’s where I go to connect and relax, with me I bring the camera which captures the beauty I encounter
Most of the photos are taken in the wilderness and the National Parks of Norway but you can also recognize far away places
I am interested in patterns, rocks, moss and places where the veil to the mystical is thin
