This is an ongoing project where I am exploring the Archetypes of The planets in our Solar system through their Mythological symbolism and expressions

The painting you see here is “The Moon” … It started upon a restless night that my blood came, I found comfort in moving the body, it came by instinct and as the Moon symbolizes the body, instincts, feelings and the woman blood cycle … the project was born

Bjørnedrømmen

“Bjørnedrømmen” is from a dream I had.. the forest was on fire, yet the bears made me feel safe and I could find rest in the tree tops

Welcome to my world of oil paints, here is where my heart lies and where my inner world translates into the physical.

I am utterly fascinated by what cannot be seen, but felt and understood through everyday life… The mystical, the spiritual and how these things connect to our physical existence. In my paintings I am exploring these themes through mythology, fairytales, psychology, astrology and dreams

These three portraits were done in a period of heartbreak and hopefulness … Painting is my friend in any though period, a great way to move and transform the energy through paint

“The Hermit” is a depiction of the magic that happens when one visits the underworld.. how the lowest moments in our life also are the most fertile places for transformation and growth

“Skog” and “Brennmanet” are preparatory studies for other paintings to come

“Self Portrait” is from the first weeks of lockdown, I find that painting is a good way to get through things in life… be it happy or sad moments

“Lady in the Dark” at its core, is about duality... is she held or is she captured? Usually after any darkness comes light

I am greatly inspired by Natures patterns and this is reflected in many of my paintings
