Late into the summer night, I walked the silent forest in the dusk
Some trees were joined in a warm embrace, creating a portal doorway and I always walk through these kinds of portals… so as I did the fairies and their tiny lights revealed themselves to me, they were collecting honeydew off the plants and berries in a beautiful rhythmical dance that was utterly enchanting and I forgot the time and the place and joint them in the joyous celebration of the dew

Breastfeeding, its such a big part of having a baby, so much joy to be able to feed another human being from your breasts. Unless this very thing turns into your sorrow
Its not for everyone its easy, actually its pretty hard for many
I struggled to have enough milk, because of an operation it was actually lucky that I made some at all, but I didn’t prepare well enough for that realization, that it wasn’t enough, that I had to supplement, it was tough and for a few months I was crazy about trying to increase my supply.
One of the things you can do is visualize… So I did, I saw my milk spilling from my breast, swirling its way to my baby, and it wasn’t just enough to feed her, it was enough to bathe her, but the milk production never truly bloomed

This painting is inspired by Saturn the planet and Saturn the archetype as told in the myths
The first meeting with this archetype can be harsh, exhausting, challenging, isolating and depressing… Saturn is challenging us to evolve, mature and grow
At first this can beat us down, make us step into uncomfortable new ness
But by taking up the challenge we evolve, we become more ourselves and we get ready for the new stages of life that are to come
So ultimately this is a planet of rising beyond our boundaries and step onto our Soul path
