What is Astrology?
Astrology has long roots, for as long as humans have existed, people have been looking up at the heavens, charting stars and planets, looking for their meaning and if they correlate with our own lives here on earth. And so the science of Astrology was born.
As above, so below
As within, so without
The basis of Astrology lies in the understanding that no thing is truly separate, everything is connected in some way or another. The alchemical writing above is a perfect example of the relationship between everything in our universe.
Following this logic, the planetary movements in the skies are reflecting movements in ourselves here on earth. The planets and signs relate to mythological stories humans have been telling for ages, becoming symbols for how our psyche works and evolves.
In practice we are looking at the movements of the planets through the signs and seing how they interact with each other, what story they are telling and what meaning lies behind them. It is easy to think that this can not possibly work, but it does, and it has been tested again and again for thousands of years.
